Bear Party in Billings, MT

The bear party in Billings, MT was a hit. The customers loved it! Doris and crew are all ready to schedule more and tie them to a charity event to donate the bears to the pediatric unit of the local hospital. The day of the party was a winter wonderland in Billings. I think that it had snowed at least 12-14 inches by the time I left - new, not accumulated - I wasn't quite ready for that much winter! Judy

Good to see my home town is still doing good. Miss the store, but learning here in Spokane. Glad you are getting the snow and cold.
I have the kit to make this bear but have forgotten the trick to "hooping" the bear for this project. Are the directions posted anywhere?
Hi Noelle - I don't think the instructions are posted anywhere, but if I remember correctly, the trick is to hoop the bear "inside out." In other words, turn the bear inside out, put the inner hoop inside (on the right side of the bear) and hoop the tummy. (Oh, and unstuff the head before you begin so you can fold it out of the way.) Then push the other parts of the bear to the sides so that the tummy in the hoop is accessible. That should do it! Jo
