That cute little girl on the cover is Erika's daughter, in a charming embroidered stroller. Isn't it the sweetest thing you've ever seen? Here are a few more photos from our BERNINA Fashion Show photo shoot in Houston last week. If you've never been to a photo shoot, you might be wondering why we had a huge sheet of paper hanging from the ceiling...this is the backdrop behind the models. They stand on the backdrop, too -- this one has a hard piece of plastic under it to help keep their high heels from poking through the paper.

Quarters were a bit cramped -- the photographer set up his computer equipment in one corner of the room...

...and Marcia & I sat in the other, taking notes and checking the garments against the descriptions we had from the artists. I'll be spending the next couple of weeks selecting photos and writing commentary for the Fashion Show based on the descriptions and what I saw during the photo shoot. The commentary will also be part of the next issue of Through The Needle magazine, due out at the beginning of November.

Here's another candid, of one of the models mugging for the camera. No - that's not part of an outfit, it really is a lampshade. I told you we had lots of fun, didn't I? And that's her own shirt - I'm being very careful not to reveal anything from the show!
